Swiss manufacturer Nagra has announced its first network player, which imaginatively they call “Streamer”.
The design respects the brand language. Compact, but evoking robustness. Machined from a solid billet of aluminum, the Streamer connects to the network via Ethernet cable and supports several music streaming services, including Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, Qobuz (via the mConnect app), vTuner and AirPlay 2 It also allows you to play local files via USB or home network.
The Streamer has N-Link optical output connections for Nagra DACs and S/PDIF for other converters. A dedicated external power supply is provided, with the option to upgrade to higher quality Nagra supplies.
